About La Digue Island Lodge

Built in 1973, La Digue Island Lodge is the first hotel of La Digue Island, nestled amongst lush tropical gardens and a beautiful sandy stretch of beach of Anse Réunion, home to the national monument of Seychelles, the Colonial Yellow House. La Digue can be reached via ferry services or helicopter that operates daily from either the Main Island Mahe or the island of Praslin.

Covid-19 Info

Your health and safety are our priority. Please ensure you follow all guidelines outlined by the national Public Health authorities at all times.

We are certified by the local Public Health and abide by their standards and policies put in place. Covid 19 guidelines are displayed around the property and we strongly recommend that they are abided by both our guests and colleagues. PCR testing facilities are available on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.

We have a dedicated Public Health Officer who can assist with any queries you may have.

Falling ill (suspected Covid-19 Cases)

Visitors showing symptoms while on holiday are advised to inform the hotel where they are staying in order to seek medical advice.

If a visitor tests positive for COVID-19 he/she may undergo isolation or quarantine as per National Health protocols.

Entry Requirements

Although no visa is required for entry into Seychelles, there’s a mandatory Travel Authorisation to be completed for safe entry and exit in Seychelles. This can be done on the Travel Authorisation (TA) platform at seychelles.govtas.com

The following documentation is required for the application:

  • Passport copy

  • Confirmed accommodation bookings for their entire stay
